Health is our main focus and we specialize in rare livestock that was once an abundance here in America when they came here with “new settlers”. Many of our breeds are on The Livestock Conservancy conservation priority list and are listed as “threatened” or “endangered”. Heritage breeds require little to no help surviving on their own with wild forage. They are naturally parasite resistance/immune, require no vaccines, don’t need help birthing and are definitely not picky eaters. Most of what we grow veggie and fruit wise are heirloom varieties which contain more nutrients than most commercially/store bought foods.
